It was a delicious but slightly expensive meal for what you get. We ordered their famous roast chicken (60 min prep time) which was definitely worth the wait! The chicken was juicy and the bread salad was warm and buttery. We also ordered oysters and the tuna entree. The oysters were fresh, and the tuna was sumptuous. The service was also attentive without being intrusive.

We (2 boomer women) ate at a table for 2 near the kitchen. It was fun to watch the food prep. Service was impeccable. We had a seasonal salad and had the scallops, fish special, trout with mashed potatoes and spinach, and a plum tart. The salad was big enough to split and they helpfully split it on two plates without our even asking. Very nice. The fish special was nicely plated but every component over salted. It was a shame. My friend liked her scallops which were perfectly cooked. The scallops are an appetizer, so probably wouldn’t be enough food for everyone as an entree. But we weren’t that hungry. With bread, salad scallops and 1/2 dessert she was pleasantly full. The highlight of the meal was the plum tart. Crisp but tender crust, carmelized plums and topped with crème fraise ice cream. Delicious.

Amazing experience! It was my sons bday and everyone kept saying happy birthday. Our server, Richard, was great. The chicken was fantastic as well as the dessert.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Zuni Cafe. The Caesar Salad was very fresh, the shoestring potatoes were salty and delicious, and the roast chicken was fantastic and moist. The bread salad with the roast chicken was incredibly flavorful as well. The service was also excellent. We’re looking forward to returning!

One of the best desserts I've ever had, a lemon meringue pie with Buckleberry sauce — you must order! The food and drinks were very good. The risotto rice was a little softer than it should have been, but it was super good. The dining room could have been a little less bright and more cozy.
