North Lake Tahoe’s premiere restaurant and popular bar is celebrating 41 years of exceptional service. As a family-run business, Wolfdale’s provides lakeview dining with a warm ambiance, and uses 'Cuisine Unique' to describe the fresh and simple aesthetic of each dish. Since opening in 1978, Chef Douglas Dale has developed a fusion style of California and Asian influences that is present throughout the menu. Wolfdale's accommodates gluten-free and vegan guests.

    My husband and I celebrated this birthday with a very tasty cocktail and a delicious, unique meal. The servers were very personable and friendly and smiled and paid attention to when we needed them and when we didn't. We will definitely be back.

    Outstanding experience with the family especially with my foodie girls. Food was like nothing I had before and showcases Doug’s creativity with fresh ingredients and seafood. Best dining by far in Tahoe. Christine’s hospitality made us feel at home and attentive to any request. Consistent experience with the creative desserts. Had to try them all! Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Don’t come to the Palisades and not have a reservation here!

    Favorites: oysters, raw and baked, sushi cones, lamb chops (that mint sauce was amazing), short ribs! The cocktails here are outstanding.

    A truly remarkable experience. I immediately sensed upon entering that the decor, staff, and ambience were very welcoming. The service was excellent and on point, and the food quality was superb. Highly recommend !
