From the decor to the jazz music, Wildfire has the style and warmth that makes it perfect for celebrating with friends or a quiet evening for two. The extensive menu features broiled steaks and chops, wood-roasted seafood and roasted meats, all prepared in an open kitchen. Signature dishes include Horseradish Crusted Filet Mignon, Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut, Wildfire Chopped Salad and Cedar Planked Salmon. It’s been some time since we went to Wildfire. We always joined the service, ambience and quality of food. Additionally, my wife who is Vegan could find enough veggie sides, salads, and other items to accommodate her needs. But things were a little off this time. Not a big deal but I had to make 3 beer selections before settling on a stout brand (I prefer stouts or porters beers or IPAs) that was a little higher in ABV than I like only to have the manager come by the table to tell me my earlier choice of a porter was available after telling me they were out of it. I had already started drinking my third choice. But, the bigger issue was with my wife who ordered a plain baked potato and a daily special of roasted green beans with a balsamic glaze that cost $8.95 for each. And to top it off, the plate of green beans was served on a small plate and had maybe 8 or 9 green beans on them and a small drizzle of glaze. Think about if you went to a grocery store and bought a single baked potato and a whole bag or bulk green beans on what that would cost. The value of this meal was not worth what it cost to make and serve to someone for $18 in total. That said, my wife should have spoken up and requested to have more green beans added to the portion but she did not realize the cost was $9 until we got the bill. A $9 side dish should be shareable. The rest of everyone’s meals was adequate and our server was pleasant.

Some very good, some not so good. I had the char bone in ribeye which was wonderful. Our friend had the prime rib and it was terrible.
