    A WORLD CLASS NEW YEARS EVE EXPERIENCE….Honestly, the experience could not have been better!!! I think our waitresses name was Audrey and I’m humiliated to admit I’m not positive but it was New Year’s Eve… When you pay price Fix for a meal for a party of four or six you always run the risk of getting lower quality food since the restaurant kinda has you prepaid… Water Grill didn’t charge us enough! I hate to write that in review, but they went over the top for this New Year’s Eve celebration and we are some very picky eaters used to eating at some very fine dining both in San Diego and nationwide… They rose above any expectations whatsoever! The quality of the fillet and the extraordinary size of the lobster included in this four course price fix meal was unbelievable… The service was flawless… You could really see the teamwork as nothing was left on thought of unchecked or undone and an extra extraordinary way. We will return and can only help it as as amazing as they made it last night for New Year’s Eve 2025!!!A world class New Year’s Eve!!!!

    We went for New Years and for the $135 plate I honestly felt like the food wasn’t up to par. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good and my husband enjoyed his steak and lobster I just can’t say the quality. Our waiter was phenomenal, however, and was extremely helpful.

    Delicious! You should eat here. I’ll be dreaming about the rolls and caramel ice cream on top of the bread pudding. Yum.

    Great location and finish out. Fantastic menu and broad array of seafood options. Everyone enjoyed the classic apps: clam chowder, crab cakes and seared tuna. Great wine and beer list. Very expensive overall though. Lower on value scale give $ to portion size, especially entrees. Should have done more from raw bar. Waiter was over seated and not very attentive.

    Scott was an excellent server. The Water Grill has a fantastic menu and the food is fresh, innovative and delicious. The restaurant interior is very well done and comfortable. One of the very best restaurants in San Diego. It is at the too of our list. You won’t be disappointed.
