   Really enjoyed our dinner. We did the pre fixe, which allows you to pick 3 items from the menu and is supplemented by 2 small courses. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We sat outside, which was the perfect last night in town before heading back to the Midwest. I look forward to going back.

   We were celebrating a birthday and the venue itself is a great place to do that. Intimate atmosphere on the patio with heaters. Our server was attentive and very friendly. We shared a number of dishes and all of them were excellent.

   I wanted to like Virtù Honest Craft, but the food was an absolute disappointment. The ambiance was nice, and our server was friendly, but that’s where the positives end. I ordered the chitarra, and our server assured us that the chef could remove the sausage from the stuffed calamari. However, after the dish was already served to our table, they backtracked and said it wasn’t possible. I’ve never had a plate of spaghetti that was so overwhelmingly salty—completely inedible. To make matters worse, the sommelier was rude from the start and wanted to argue with me as if it was my fault that the server misinformed us. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they only took $6 off the bill—a laughable attempt at customer service. Had I known they couldn’t actually modify the dish, I would have ordered the tomahawk steak instead. If you’re looking for a great meal and a nice night out, avoid this place. DONT GO HERE.

   We have eaten many times on past trips to Phoenix at Virtu Honest Cafe and have always been extremely pleased. This time everything was not quite up to the standards we have come to expect.

    Top notch for quality food and outdoor courtyard ambiance. Outstanding burrata appetizer. Excellent pasta dishes. Nice by-the-glass wine selections. No sugar served with the espresso but the espresso itself was fine. Server however was subpar at best. He was not knowledgeable about the Italian wines but tried to upsell nonetheless. He also inexplicably entered our pasta dishes on the bill at $10 each more than the stated menu price. We do not always review the bill but my husband happened to notice the $20 discrepancy. The server claimed there was an upcharge since they were our entrees but that did not ring true as neither he nor the menu referred to alternative size options, simply dishes under the heading “pasta.” It was a weird explanation. And all portions of all menu items were quite large, for example the burrata would have been enough for 4 ppl to share. Overall recommended for the food quality.
