Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk.     Very disappointing experience. Flounder was very bland. Seafood melange was almost served cold. We were sat at 2-top with a 2' top on each side of us. No chance to have private conversation. Felt like we were hurried the entire dinner just so table could be turned over. Won't recommend going back.

    Wonderful window seat! Oysters Rock lukewarm. Oysters a touch fishy. Just didn’t feel like complaining to waiter. Service too fast. Rec’d oysters and salad right away. No time to relax and enjoy beverages. Then we told waiter please don’t hurry delivery of main course (scallops). Then one min after request to slow things down scallops came. This was 25 min after being seated. We refused. Scallops good when they did arrive. Not a fine dining experience. Second time here. When leaving asked host if he was manager. No. No offer to get manager. We will not return.

    We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Vic's on the River. Not realizing that "on the River" was different from "the grill". Sister restaurants of fine dining upstairs and casual cafe on River street. Beautiful view of the River from an elevated angle. Our server Marry was a Southern delight, she was thoughtful of our dining experience and went out of her way to make our dinner special. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees and dessert, all five star quality food. Some considerations that brought the experience down, but wouldn't keep us from returning... The tables are very close, especially the tables for two. So while looking for an intimate dining experience, we basically shared a table with the couple next to us. The waitress tending to the table next to ours, bumped into us while waiting on them. The quantity of tables made the noise level high and diminished our ability to enjoy each other's company. The food runners delivered hot meals when ready, but did not clear dishes. You would be served your entree but left with your appetizer plates on a very small table for two until the server returned. Observed on multiple tables. The food was delicious and outweighed the dining experience. We would return if we visited Savannah again!

    Seated and served promptly. Food and service and ambiance was excellent. Mixologist knows their craft. Aaron was our waiter. Knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable on-top of impeccable service. Highly recommend to future patrons

    Delicious crab cake and she crab soup! Great service. Very loud and crowded for a Tuesday night. Difficult to hear any conversation at our own table.

    given table by window as requested, Wesley M is a top shelf server! very enjoyable evening and food was terrific and satisfying portion, thank you staff at Vic’s and Wesley M and thank you for the surprise at the meal end
