Vaticano Restaurant is nestled down the stairs in the heart of Yorkville, home to celebrity chef Felice Vacca, where he draws inspiration from the cherished recipes passed down by his mother, infusing them with a modern touch to create a menu where every dish is crafted to bring rich flavours to your table. Everything in the Vaticano restaurant is made from scratch every day. This includes the sauces and pasta, each made fresh and never frozen or kept overnight. Some of the signature dishes at Vaticano include the bucatini amatricina which is pasta with chopped bacon, onions and pecorino in a spiced tomato sauce as well as the pappardelle vaticanus, which is served with mushrooms and caramelized onion in a marsala wine sauce.

    Excellent customer service. Well priced. The atmosphere is so warm and you feel like you are having authentic Italian food. The veal is very nice.

    A friend and I went to Vaticano for a Winterlicious lunch. Perhaps because it was a Tuesday, we were the only people there. Not so good for the owners, but great for us! We were able to talk easily, and of course we got good service. The food was delicious, especially the lemon chicken. Our meal included a dessert, but we were also brought complementary servings of tiramisu. We took that home. When I finally could eat it, it tasted like heaven. My friend said it was her best Winterlicious ever, and we will definitely go back.

    What an absolute GEM!! I cannot wait to go back. Thanks Monica and Luca for a wonderful evening with amazing food and service. Love the old world charm of your decor. Don’t change it. Can’t wait to go back…beyond a 10/10!!!!

    Visited for Winterlicious I had the Veal Parm and my wife had the Ravioli and for dessert I had the Tiramisu along with the Strudel and I must say this place is truly AUTHENTIC when it comes to the Italian cuisine. The service was amazing and you just felt like you were at home. Definitely coming back best spot for Italian food in Toronto!!!!!
