Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. The cuisine at VALENZA is inspired by the diverse culture of Northern Italy. Executive Chef Matt Swickerath’s focus is on classic and modern cooking methods using fresh seasonal and local ingredients to create a classic Italian menu with an updated culinary touch. The menu features a variety of antipasti, pasta, risotto and Italian entrees. Valenza has the heart and spirit of a cozy and warm Italian village café in an upscale setting. The dining room features venetian plastered walls with rustic oak and pine woods. Experience the warmth and elegance of Valenza when dining under the antique European candle chandeliers. Food was great!! We had saltimbucca and pasta—delicious!! Had the bread pudding and chocolate pudding for dessert which was amazing!! Our waiter was also very good and attentive.

We have been to Valenza quite a few times. Mostly the food was good and the service was good. Last night , it was the worse meal we had there. My salad, the mixed green was drenched with dressing, so wet like you are fishing out from a bowl of soup. My husband’s Caesar salad was ok. I order the fristo miso as my dinner. I had that before. The seafood was lightly fried with adequate coating but not much. But this time the flour coating was very heavy to get the volume. There was no shrimps at all. My husband ordered the squid ink seafood pasta, the small shrimps were half (just two shrimps) and some squid heads. The taste was ok. The reason We went out to eat is to enjoyed the food. The restaurants were great the last few times we were there. This time they either trying to cut cost or something. We don’t think we will go back I understand food cost has been high. But this is the wrong way to cut cost. I would rather pay for a few dollars more than to enjoy the food.

Valenza is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. Love the food and service and love running into neighbors. Always great on a cold winter night in the cozy interiors!

Valenza is one of my "go-to" establishments in Brookhaven. The food is excellent: delectable home-made pastas, excellent appetizers and entrees cooked to perfection. Servers are friendly and helpful. The wine list has something for everyone and is priced reasonably. Cocktails rotate seasonally and the bar has something for everyone with skilled bartenders. Whether dining for business or just an evening out with family/friends, Valenza always seems to be the right place.

This is our 2nd year that we had a Christmas Eve Dinner here at Valenza and the experience was amazing as the first time. This has become one of our favorite restaurant to attend.
