- EEdwardvipPhiladelphia County •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLucca’s is an oasis in a vast wasteland. The food, service and ambiance are great. But what sets this place apart from other great Italian restaurants is the live music. As a musician myself, I can assure you that the live music at Lucca’ is not just nice. It’s phenomenal — seriously fantastic pro musicians and great singer. (We heard Eddie Bruce sing and he is nothing short of terrific.) No other restaurant in the philly area has this kind of tremendous vibe. When you go, show some respect and dress up !! Love the dress code, too. As a first timer, I just can’t say enough good things about this spot.More infoRistorante LUCCA & Piano LoungePrice: Expensive• Italian• Bordentown•4.7
- LLouisPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoExcellent. Assistant GM, Brandon, greeted us and periodically checked on our table. Our server, Ben, was attentive and charming. Beautifully warm atmosphere. Such a unique establishment. Cheese plate was tastefully arranged with honey, jam, nuts and several perfect cheeses. Pork belly and Caesar salad were lovely and generous apps while all our entrees were to perfection. We had a bit of a “tasting” assortment of deserts which were well worth the indulgence. Highly recommended for a tasting event, holiday, group or date.More infoRats Restaurant - Grounds for SculpturePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Princeton•4.3

We celebrated my best friend’s bachelorette, and it was truly an unforgettable evening, thanks to the incredible staff and attention to detail. From the moment I made the reservation, the manager, Frankie, called me to see how they could make the bride’s night extra special. And let me tell you, they went above and beyond! When we arrived, there were personalized welcome cards at our table featuring the bride’s theme, which was such a lovely touch. But the highlight was the custom drink they created just for her—complete with a picture of the bride in the drink! She was absolutely stunned and couldn’t stop smiling. It’s rare to feel so taken care of at a restaurant, but 618 truly made us all feel like VIPs. Our waiter, Marc N, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He made sure we had everything we needed and kept the atmosphere fun and lighthearted throughout the evening. Frankie also stopped by to check on us multiple times and made sure everything was perfect. The service here is truly top-notch! Not only was the food absolutely delicious (I’m still thinking about the dishes we had), but the entire team made the bride feel incredibly special, with everyone offering congratulations throughout the evening. I’m so grateful to everyone at 618 for making this such a memorable celebration. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion or just want a phenomenal dining experience, 618 is the place to be!More info618Price: Moderate• American• Freehold•4.9

Two of us at our table immensely enjoyed the Romarin specialty cocktail. Four of us shared three hors d’ouevres - the charcuterie, the mushroom tart and the crispy artichokes along with the beet salad. The serving sizes of each were perfect for the 4 of us to share. Our water glasses were continually refilled and the service was excellent. Two at our table had the Saturday special - poultry feuillete - an elevated chicken pot pie with mushrooms and black truffle oil. I sampled the special and the sauce was superb! I ordered the Moules Frites and another had the veal escalope. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and didn’t feel rushed. The interior of the restaurant was decorated for the holidays and it was a warm, welcoming environment. We completed our meal by sharing the moelleux au chocolat - a warm chocolate cake with hazelnuts and praline sorbet…delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere.More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
