   This was our third year at Urban Farmer for Thanksgiving and we were so disappointed this year. Our reservation was for 5:30. Sadly, we didn't receive a bit of food for 55 minutes. My harvest salad was very tasty, but my daughter's squash soup arrived to the table and it was barely warm. The turkey dinner and stuffing were very, very dry. They brought one muffin-sized cornbread to our table of 5. My water glass was never refilled. They brought coffee to one member of our party, but never to anyone else. For $120 per person, this was not the kind of experience I expected at all. Urban Farmer has really gone downhill. We will not be returning or recommending Urban Farmer to anyone any more. The food used to be very delicious. The service used to be excellent. Not any more.

   I had a horrible experience with the service and ignorance of the waitress. The food was so so. She totally ignored me when I was going to ask for something. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

   Came for lunch. The waitress was friendly and efficient. She deftly allowed two of our party to split an entree and mage great suggestions for herbal teas. All the door was well prepared (medium rare was medium rare)!

   Aside from my steak not being prepared as ordered, everyone enjoyed the brunch! Unfortunately, the grass-fed steak was not cooked to medium- it was undercooked upon serving and then overcooked to done when asked for a slight reheating to medium. Waitress could not have cared less- never asked how steak was when served or when served again. I had obviously left it virtually untouched when she cleaned the table, yet not one word from her!

   We were greeted and seated promptly. Staff from host to bartender to server to manager was pleasant. The place was pretty empty. Drinks were good albeit a bit pricey. The appetizers were not placed with the correct people. Caesar salad was more of a peppercorn cream dressing with two anchovies. The mac and cheese was great. The cornbread (complimentary) was dry but the butter was good. The steaks were mildly seasoned and mostly cooked as ordered. However, the wagyu NY strip was under-cooked (we kept this, ordered as medium rare and received black and blue) and one of the filets was overcooked (we sent this back and received a replacement that was as-ordered/medium rare). The au poivre sauce was not that, it was more of a straight black pepper sauce which was incredibly spicy. The scallops, which were add-ons for a few people in our party’s steaks were over-salted. Same issue with the person who got them as an entree. The harvest vegetable side came out cold—we sent it back to be remade but it was clearly reheated. Some of the vegetables were still raw, so a combination of raw and mush. The “potato puffs” are clearly McCann’s tater tots. At the price point, pretty absurd. The complimentary birthday desserts were delicious and a nice touch. Our glasses sat empty for too long and we did not get enough table-touches. We appreciated the kindness of the service and management, although a bit slow for a quiet night. Unfortunately with the amount of great steakhouses and culinary options in the city, we will not return.
