   We were greeted and seated promptly. Staff from host to bartender to server to manager was pleasant. The place was pretty empty. Drinks were good albeit a bit pricey. The appetizers were not placed with the correct people. Caesar salad was more of a peppercorn cream dressing with two anchovies. The mac and cheese was great. The cornbread (complimentary) was dry but the butter was good. The steaks were mildly seasoned and mostly cooked as ordered. However, the wagyu NY strip was under-cooked (we kept this, ordered as medium rare and received black and blue) and one of the filets was overcooked (we sent this back and received a replacement that was as-ordered/medium rare). The au poivre sauce was not that, it was more of a straight black pepper sauce which was incredibly spicy. The scallops, which were add-ons for a few people in our party’s steaks were over-salted. Same issue with the person who got them as an entree. The harvest vegetable side came out cold—we sent it back to be remade but it was clearly reheated. Some of the vegetables were still raw, so a combination of raw and mush. The “potato puffs” are clearly McCann’s tater tots. At the price point, pretty absurd. The complimentary birthday desserts were delicious and a nice touch. Our glasses sat empty for too long and we did not get enough table-touches. We appreciated the kindness of the service and management, although a bit slow for a quiet night. Unfortunately with the amount of great steakhouses and culinary options in the city, we will not return.

   Enjoyed a delicious meal with family and friends. They were able to provide good recommendations to accommodate my celiac disease dietary restrictions. The restaurant is quite spacious with a great ambiance and no trouble hearing each other across the table. A lovely way to end our quick trip to Philly. Plan to seek out the Denver location when we return home.

   We were seated quickly but waiter 20 minutes for service; we didn’t even get water until I went to the hostess station to ask for service. The service did not improve and we waited for every thing for exceedingly long times. The bill cost more than our dinner the evening before which had been wonderful and included alcohol.

   We had a very bad experience last night. Our grown children were in town for a funeral and we were looking forward to a lovely dinner before everyone was to go their separate ways. While the wait person was attentive, we did not receive our entrees for 1.5 hours due to serious delays in the kitchen. We complained to management but received no discount on the hefty bill until we refused to pay. My husband and I dine here frequently on our own without issue but this was embarrassing and unacceptable.
