While we continue the Tsunami tradition, we also offer a unique atmosphere which includes a sushi lounge, private party room, sake bar (full service), large party capacity, and beautiful interior design. We have a passion for delicious, fresh food and exceptional service. We look forward to serving you soon!

Tsunami Restaurant and Holystone Distilling are proud to produce this shochu using the same methods utilized in the 16th century on the island of Kyushu, including growing and cultivating the koji, and a dual fermentation process. Haley, our server, was a delight. She did an excellent job and got the entire order right (not so easy with one of my daughters 😂). It was a wonderful evening and we do this consistently for each of mine and my daughter’s birthdays. Love Tsunami. We can always count on excellent food!!

I normally love Tsunami, but I usually go to the 9th & 9th or Union Park locations. South Jordan was almost unbearable, which I know sounds dramatic! The staff was unpleasant, waitress a bit meh and the food was just okay. For $90 for two people (including tip) I expected more. Will definitely not be going back to this location. If not for the “something tropical” and “executive” rolls, I’d probably find somewhere else altogether. Too bad I’m a sucker for familiarity! I miss the old days of the tiny location in sugarhouse being the one and only!

My daughter and I went to lunch and took her daughter, my grandbaby with us. They are always so accommodating with high chairs and getting slices of avocado for the baby. It is always good, fresh and tasty. We love the muscle shooters with quail egg! Thanks so much for always being consistent with your food.

Ambience and service always seems to be solid and the food choices, timing of delivery and quality are always excellent. We have eaten at Tsunami hundreds of times over the years and will continue to do so. Never disappointed.

Excellent restaurant. My first time going to Tsunami. Had a reservation and my 2nd was delayed and the staff was very accommodating so I could wait for her by the front door. The noise level was a but loud at first, making it difficult to have a "first date" conversation but was better after other patrons left.
