   True Food Kitchen is definitely a 5-star restaurant and I always try to get our lunch groups to dine there. Luckily, they agree too, so we all enjoy afternoons together eating healthy and delicious dishes that floor us to no end! If you get the chance, get the Meatloaf sliders and the Iced Shakeratto. That's what I had it nothing was left for the dishwasher. Absolutely delicious 100%. Service was exceptional (as always) and we all had such a good time, I think we spent close to 2 hours there just enjoying the day. Gotta love San Diego but, I do love True Foods more! It's the only restaurant that goes out of their way to serve healthy and tasty dishes I can't believe I get to enjoy. Well done True Food Kitchen!

   We met friends for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and ate on the covered patio. The waiter was friendly and the food was brought out quickly. Our burgers were very tasty and we were not rushed to leave after we finished our meal. We will definitely return.

   Exemplary customer service by the gentleman, possibly the manager, who assisted us at the front. The atmosphere was great and that gentleman gave us a great corner table that was perfect! Food was very delicious and served fairly quickly. I appreciated the fact that the gentleman comped us for our buffalo wings, which came out a bit late. Also, appreciated the fact that they accommodated a large party. Would definitely come back again! Keep up the great work! Thank you!

   Although TFK always hits the nail in the head, this time was the exception, unfortunately. Our assigned server seemed in a hurry (the restaurant was not even at half capacity) and had us waiting a long time to put our order in. When they brought our dishes, my wife’s order (crisp’d salad) was incorrect and had to wait additional 15-20 minutes to make it right (I waited so we could both eat together and my burger turned mushy). When it finally came, the chicken was dry that we had to order sauce on the side to try and fix it. Overall not a very good experience.

   We've dined here multiple times, years ago, and always enjoyed our experience. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. For drinks, we ordered wine and beer. Please consider revising your drink menu to indicate that draft beer is not offered. Your customers deserve to know that their beer will be in a can or bottle. We tried the True Crisp'd Buffalo Tenders. They had a good flavor profile. In retrospect, we should have got the tender plate. For a couple dollars more you get an additional chicken tender and slaw. For my entree, I was excited to try the Wild Caught Tuna Poke Bowl. It was decent, but disappointing to see an avocado sauce (used like a garnish around the rim) rather than actual chunks of avocado. The menu description for this bowl is misleading and should be updated accordingly. My dish also didn't have any pickled ginger. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and it came out soggy and soft in the center. Again, the menu description wasn't accurate as his pizza was thin crust. The portion size definitely didn't match the price point. Our server, while attentive and pleasant, was quite busy and we didn't want to wait for another pizza so my husband just made do. We do love the concept that this restaurant represents and its focus on clean eating without seed oils. Sadly, I'm not sure we'll be back.

    Service was good. food tasted good, but the amount of food that I was given on my plate was laughable. I will pay any amount of money for food, but expect the portion size to be much larger than what I received. I definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant.
