Walk into TORC and you might notice the music. It's rock & roll, blues, or soul, and it's undeniably on. You might notice the energy — it's high. And you'll definitely notice our bar. It's busy serving well-made cocktails and pouring rare wines we're proud to say you probably won't find anywhere else by the glass. There are no white tablecloths. No dabbing the corners of your mouth. No pomp, but lots of circumstance. And perhaps the only reason you noticed the aforementioned is because you haven't tasted our food.     This was my favorite dining experience in Napa. Every single dish we ordered was superb. The service was amazing, our water glasses were always full, and the playlist was PERFECTION. We were celebrating our birthday’s and dancing in our seats the entire meal. I loved being able to see Chef and his team working and interacting behind the scene, the open concept feels intimate but classy. Every dish from appetizers to desert was so layered. The Pakora! The himachi tartare took my taste buds on a fantastic voyage, definitely a work of art. Our main was a chicken special that came in a cast iron pan with fries and sauce from the comfort Gods. We finished with the red velvet cake! The entire meal was perfection and we will be back every time we return to Napa. Thank you so much Torq, your restaurant fit our personality in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Elevated, soulful, culinary bliss!!!

    I’m not one to write reviews but our waiter was absolutely phenomenal, the food was amazing and the wine was equally amazing. Really enjoyed this dinner and the wait staff made it even better.

    The food was excellent esp the pork cheek. However we had terrible service. We got to the restaurant at 7, ordered salad, entrees and side. We even gently chatted with our neighboring solo diner and admired her appetizer and risotto. We were starting to be pretty hungry and I asked our server about our food at 7:45. She said it would be coming up. We got our food finally at 7:50. The food was amazing. The presentation and execution was top notch. However, the service attitude was cold, we had never heard anything about why our food was so late, the food was great for a fine dining establishment however the service was far from it.

    What a marvelous find after searching for a one night only dinner choice in Napa! Eclectic menu designed to showcase passion with a clear vision of what Chef wants our taste buds to experience. Love the grand room dining setup along with the wine bar built up along one whole wall of his restaurant. Nuff said that wines are certainly celebrated here! All front of house staff excelled in their duties which rounded out a most pleasant dining experience. However, it is the choice of music that truly put TORC over the top for us. What a refreshing change to hear classic rock, blues and pop music while dining. Gone is the typical instrumental elevator music - loved the all the offerings making TORC’s fine dining a very fun night. We will return as soon as we can return to Napa!

    Pasta with ruffles entree like $54 had minimal taste of truffles and surprisingly angel hair like pasta was used which DID NOT add a creamy taste Returned it Appetizer raw white fish appetizer - essentially no flavor( item not on online to check) would have expected citrus or jalapeño flavor Husband ate it but would not order again Beef short ribs were very good and sable fish was good

    The food was excellent! We had the Shungiku, Beef tongue, Fiorentino. and the Short rib. We had the raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The staff were attentive and helpful, without being overbearing. We enjoyed the dinner tremendously. Highly recommend!
