   Our food took roughly 30 minutes to come out. Our steaks were burnt and overly cooked. However, our waiter was very kind and understanding and so was the manager! The ambiance was delightful. There is no dress code.

   I had high hopes for this place. I was under the impression there was a dress code but noted multiple different people in bath slippers and or sweat pants. The food took a long time to come which I appreciate the comp on my appetizer for the wait. But when I got my main Duck and it's something I love to eat it... it was over cooked :( I'm not one to send things back or complain. But I will not be returning here. Just wasn't the vibe I expected or wanted when taking myself out to a fine dining dinner.

   This was our fourth dinner at Top of the Rock to celebrate our anniversary. Our first dinner was in 2019 to celebrate our 50th. They never disappoint. Great food, great service, great ambiance and beautiful views.

   The hostesses were not very welcoming. Our server Kenny and all the servers who delivered our meal were great! All of the available reds were from California. I usually order one from spain or italy. Kenny answered all of our random on and off menu questions without judgment and suggested a great Pinot Noir. The food was good but not as great as the prices would suggest. The NY strip was of the same quality as a lesser restaurant and no where near the flavor of a Brazilian steak house. The risotto was flavorful but needed a touch more moisture to be creamy. I assume the price point is for the wonderful view and great service. I also did not appreciate the choice of an uphill climb from self parking or having to valet my car.

   Absolutely amazing views and food. We had the filet mignon and it was delicious. Great service. Definitely recommend.

   The food, seating, waiter, were all excellent ! I always enjoy the experience when I come here expect for tonight. We made a reservation for 7 at 8pm January 11th, 2025. Part of are party arrived earlier asked for our table and was told it was being put together and waiting for the rest of the party to show, after ten minutes went by I asked the young girl working at the hostess stand if she knew how much longer for our table (the restaurant was close to empty), she said just a few more moments and it will be ready, then asked if it was still for 7 guests, I informed her it would only be 6 and she had an upset reaction scrunching her nose and waiting to say “okay.” Before immediately walking away. Really wasn’t necessary but I figured someone her age still probably doesn’t know how to control their emotions yet. She took us to our table and it was fine from there forward as we did not have to interact with her any more. When leaving the older man working valet grabbed three of our tickets at once and brought us our vehicles. When I was thanking him for his service and about to enter my vehicle to get his tip, he ignored my thanking and muttered “0 for 2” before running off. I was confused and a little shocked. My third guest said he did something similar by not handing him his key and then still waiting as he was going to leave. I believe the man was waiting for a tip (which he would’ve got from me if he just stayed and didnt hurry off/ make that comment). Not sure either of their names but but these people worked until at least 11pm that night. Hopefully this restaurant/ hotel can hire staff with better attitude.

    I requested a window seat and we did not get it, we went to this place for the view and we really didn’t have a seat where we were able to see much of the view. Ordered a filet mignon medium but it came out well done. We also ordered a ribeye it was extremely fatty and tough. Risotto was undercooked and crunchy rather than al dente. If paying as much as we did for what meal we would’ve expected the food to have been better. Our server Emma was good and the ambience was nice but we wouldn’t go back. The overall experience was lacking and there’s not one thing that would cause us to want to come back
