   We stumbled upon this charming restaurant on a layover night in Santa Barbara and were pleasantly impressed by the welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Impeccable service and a creative menu complemented by a well curated wine list.

   Perfect and delicious. We shared the tuna cones (a standout) Caesar salad and Rigatoni. I wanted to lick the plate when I was done.

   We LOVE Toma! We’ve been dining there for years. For special occasions and spontaneous dinners at the bar. This time the tables were a bit tight… probably due to high volume over the holidays. But we’re longtime fans and will continue to be!

   Excellent service from the hostess to the bus person. Very low key, quiet, with delicious food and wine. My sister and I stayed at the Beachside Inn next door so this was a lovely way to end a day I’d sightseeing. We recommend the swordfish (special), seafood pasta, all of the salads, and the chocolate torte for dessert. Fantastic wine list.

   Toma is a gem in a restaurant heavy tourist town. As a local, I completely enjoy its location, incredible food and how warm and friendly it is. It’s a great place to go even on your own to sit at the beautiful bar and enjoy a great meal with like- minded diners. You will always feel welcome.

   The service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. The only issue was a very loud woman at the bar who actually filled the entire room with her voice. There was nothing to be done about it, but it did distract.

    The food and service were excellent. Very small ding room with tables very close together. The $4.00 charge for bread seems out of place, considering the cost of food.
