Reservations were very easy. Service was very attentive. Food was traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day and was delicious. Was a very good experience for time when we needed good restaurant to be open.

This is our second year in a row going to The Wooden Nickel for Thanksgiving dinner. It was an excellent choice once again. Our turkey meal was quite tasty. However, the real standout was the outstanding service we received from Maddie. She was genuinely warm, attentive, and efficient. Her service certainly helped make our visit an enjoyable one.

Service was prompt and friendly. Veal cutlet was tender but lacked seasoning and had to be sent back because it wasn’t hot. Carrot cake was outstanding.

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner at the Wooden Nickel last night. Our server, Collin was very professional and attentive. Our meals were well-prepared and enjoyable -- Scallops & Risotto and the Salmon Oscar. The side salad was very fresh and the bread was delicious.

Arrived for our reservation 5 minutes early and they asked if we would mind sitting in the lounge. No problem. 10-15 minutes after sitting at the table, the hostess came over and said it would be another 20 minutes before we would have a server available. As we got up to leave, the manager was at the hostess table asked her how it went. She didn’t have the decency to do it herself? We voiced our dissatisfaction on how it was handled and they shouldn’t have taken our reservation if they couldn’t handle it. The situation could’ve been handled so much better. We go to many restaurants that sometimes get behind. At least get our drinks and advise it will be a couple minutes. No one could handle drinks for a party of 3?? Her response was they got unexpectedly busy. Go somewhere else for dinner …

Three of four meals were very good. My wife's steak was overcooked (medium well vs. ordered med. rare). Pretty nice evening.
