The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.

We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors. We recommend a sweater or light coat during the evenings.

Shorts, baseball caps, sweats, sandals, tank tops, phone calls, computers and photos are not permitted.

We've crafted a celebratory 3 course pre-fixe menu that includes an amuse bouche and a champagne toast for your friends and family. For $225 per person and $65 for children 12 and under, celebrate with loved ones with reservations from 6:00pm-11:00pm in Hollywood style. Credit card required for all reservations. A charge of $75/person will be incurred for those who do not cancel within 48 hours of their reservation.

Magnificent service. Some of the best. The Yule log—sublime! The pigs in a blanket—imagine what that might be like with a master pastry chef! Shrimp cocktail—how often is it merely passable? Here it is of a uniformly exquisite tenderness. I want to say again, the SERVICE. This place is an industry standard but is generally underrated. Visit it again.

Bummed. I've been numerous times for dinner, booked Christmas Eve and got shuffled to their Terrance side, paid top dollar for prefix but not at The Resturant Bar. TOTALLY different, would not have made the reservation if I knew...bad -bad business, maybe we were not pretty enough???

We had gone here last year and were seated by the main bar and music and had a lot of fun. but this year they tried to seat us in a completely different restaurant even though all the tables in the main area were available. We finally got a seat right by the lobby which was terrible even though I made the reservation a month ago. There was never any explanation as to why other diners who arrived later got better seating. Won’t go back.

It was our first time there and we had a fantastic time. The service was top notch. Our server was super chill and incredibly attentive. Shout out to him with the mullet! That said, the lobster tacos were not great. The lobster itself was high quality, but the prep of the tacos was dry, lacking in flavor, moisture and sauce. Nobody wants to send lobster back like a jerk (but I really wanted to send the lobster back like a jerk lol). Wish it was a lobster roll instead. Anyway, place was gorgeous, service was FAB and I can’t wait to go back for the dinner selections. Thank you!

If you are looking for a festive setting for the holidays, I would not recommend going to the Tower Bar. Not a single plant, or decoration in sight. Very disappointed as I look forward to going to hotels at the holiday season to enjoy the festive mood created by the setting. No flower arrangements, no plants, no lights, nothing! I could have gone in January and had the same experience. I will not be going back next holiday season.

We had never been there before, so we let the hostess choose for us. We were sat in the Terrace room, and it was a little too noisy. But, the food, service, and even with the noise the atmosphere was great. The food was exceptional.
