   Good service; good food; great time. We enjoyed ourselves. The octopus was very good as was the crudo. We shared these as starters. My wife had a special - uni with squid-ink noodles and I had the seared dayboat scallop risotto. Both were quite good - the noodles were a little too much for my wife to finish (but she made sure to get all of the uni). My risotto dish came with 5 scallops which were cooked very nicely and presented on top of the risotto - there could have been a few more chanterelle mushrooms though. We split the Pecan Pie Tart for dessert. We finished with a couple of cappuccinos which were nice and hot with plenty of foam and great espresso. We brought our own wine and enjoyed it with the meal.

   The Table is a neighborhood favorite that I never get tired of visiting. Great food, great staff, great ambiance. It was particularly touching that my partner and I were gifted beignets for dessert as an acknowledgment of our anniversary. It’s thoughtful things like this that sets The Table apart.

   We checked in at 4:45, for our reservation which was not noted by the host and became an issue later. We were only given happy hour menus even though we were there for dinner. Most things we ordered were good, but very slow and spotty service. We had to ask twice for multiple things like flatware while our order sat and sat ….. the bone marrow was a bad mix of flavors, wine was oxidized and by that time no one was checking on us. No dessert was offered before the bill was brought. Not a great experience.

   Overall, thumbs up. However I wanted to mention that the lights at night, need to be turned down, this will encourage peps to stick around, instead of get out of the burning bright lights. The longer peps stay, the bigger your profits at the end of them month.....also two-top tables needs to be a little further apart. I noticed several couples, asking to me moved. This is especially true of the main floor as you walk in the door. I get you want as many tables as possible, but too close makes peps uncomfortable, and they will leave as soon as they can....food was good, and service.

   We had a wonderful time from the moment we walked in the door! A friendly face welcomed us. Our waiter and staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Great cocktails to start! Burgers were excellent, the salmon was perfection! The Winter menu is very nice! Dessert was excellent! A great night!

    Had a wonderful meal here ! We have visited this restaurant several times and each time has been very enjoyable. Dinner selections are diverse and tasty. Our family had a hamburger, salmon, roasted chicken and a beef salad which were all delicious. Waitress was polite and attentive. Great experience and see you again soon.
