Interesting and beautifully presented food without unnecessary foams and gimmicks. The perfectly cooked vegetables balanced well with the pheasant. The latter possibly just a little overdone was rescued with a tangy jus. This was the calm before the storm of valentines so we had intimate service fresh flowers on the table and a good wine at a reasonable price. My highlight was the surprise of our delicious apple tart being flambéed at the table ..thank you

The Sundial overall was good, the food was nice and tasty generally although value for money perhaps not. The restaurant is a little tired and decor is from the 90’s. It’s a little dark in the restaurant making it difficult to read menu and know exactly what is on the plate! The host and staff are polite and service was great but the whole experience needs modernisation.
