The Snooty Mehmaan is a refined contemporary Indian restaurant in the Oxford suburb of Faringdon.

Welcome to the Snooty Mehmaan! Previously the Snooty Fox, the Snooty Mehmaan now delivers the best in Indian & Thai food all expertly prepared by our award winning chef.

Our stylish and contemporary revamp of this former pub is able to accommodate a variety of functions including Weddings, Christenings, Business Meetings and friends/family get togethers.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Snooty Mehmaan for lunch or dinner. We serve our A La Carte menu daily. If you are Vegetarian or have special dietary needs please tell us and we will endeavour to offer you a wider choice of meals… During Sunday lunch we serve a delicious Indian buffet. (Please note we do not serve our full menu at Sunday lunch).

    Had lovely food, all freshly cooked and very different to other restaurants serving Indian food as the menu was very different. Would definitely recommend.

    The Maas thalli is absolutely delightful! A wide array of mouthwatering vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes all in one big plate. It's was a wonderful experience and we absolutely enjoyed the service from their team. We are definitely going back to the Snooty Mehmaan for more!

    A warm welcome and superb service as usual. You can’t fault this place. I had the Thai green curry which was creamy and yet fragrant. The garlic naans are something else. We will be back. Thank you to all the team at the Snooty Mehmaan.

    Fantastic meal at Snooty Mehmaan last night. Exceptional menu with just the right amount of choice. The dishes cooked to very high standard. The beef rendang went down well and the honey chicken starter was lovely. A lovely place to go for a special curry night. Relaxed ambience and staff very attentive.
