The Rose and Crown is part of the small perfectly formed family owed WH Pubs. We pride ourselves on offering a relaxed informal place for people to meet, eat and chat. We source all our food from local suppliers and our chefs take great care in preparing fresh home cooked food.
We take pride and time hunting out some fantastic wines for our wine list. We always have Real Ales on tap and a good selection of popular Lagers, we have even added to our portfolio some classic cocktails and to top this off even the drivers and non drinkers have a full range of refreshments.
Our beer garden is second to non with its own BBQ Shack, outside bar and Private Dining Huts you can hire which come with your own on call waiter.

Our over 21’s policy runs throughout this site inside and out unless you are dining with your family.

Our first visit to this lovely pub. The fish and chips was outstanding and the service was spot on. Will be back, without a doubt. 5*

Met up with friends who I haven’t seen for some time. Busier than we’ve known it before at 6.30. Served immediately, order arrived quickly. Food was lovely but found fish too big unfortunately.

Everything was priced well except the coffees over £4 for macchiato is expensive. The service and food was excellent.

Table of 5 for my birthday, 4 mains arrived. 30 minutes later the 5th meal arrived We had finished eating. Shouldn't take that long to cook ham, egg and chips

Pub is nice and clean instead, with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Big garden with playground for keeping kids entertained. The food is a bit disappointing, especially the roast dinner - the meat was overcooked and had a strange aftertaste, the potatoes and veg were soggy, and in general the quality of the ingredients seemed to be lacking. The rest of the menu is ok - and I will definitely come back...perhaps just not for the roast!
