Our first visit and it exceeded all expectations. Food was exceptional and the jazz combo was terrific. Definitely worth a repeat.

The Purple Room is a fun place steeped in local history and nostalgia. The entertainment is always enjoyable, and the mix of visitors and locals ensures a lively group of interested patrons. The menu is creative, and they do a very good job with a lot of people requiring service and mostly the same time. The bar can be quite lively, and the showroom is mostly a "listening audience."

It will not be the same without Sharon Sills. I hope her absence was purely her choice

The Purple Room is amazing! Reservations a must for dinner. Holmes, Darcy, and Herrera were wonderful and their trio of musicians entertained us as we enjoyed our delicious dinner. The prime rib and penne with meatballs were yummy. We enjoyed the Rat Pack tunes and the sing-along. A real gem!

Great venue and throwback to Supper Club with music from the 50s and 60s. Totally worth it and a trip back in time

The chicken roulade was horribly dry and had no seasoning whatsoever. That was pretty shocked the food has always been really good when we've come to the Purple Room. The staff was lovely and more than accommodating when we asked for a table away from the stage. They were so great and seated us right up front to celebrate our anniversary dinner, however my husband has tinnitus and we decided it best to move away from the speakers. Lovely venue! Chose wrong menu item!!

The food is quite good, but not exceptional. However, the ambience and fabulous music make this a place not to be missed. We come every year when we are in Palm Springs.

We love every visit. Young and old feel welcome, and the smart casual dress code echoes the atmosphere of a smart casual lounge. Large enough that people can choose different seating areas, including the bar, and small enough to feel intimate with the performer. I love that Rose Mallett comes out and walks through the audiences to chat after the set. We saw Lucie Arnaz once and nice to see that she is coming back - highly recommended. Food is good, and portions are generous. Servers circulate quickly and efficiently. Great that you can choose between a shorter dinner set during the week or an extended performance for certain events. Your experience starts with the lounge check-in person who sets the tone perfectly with personal engagement. You feel like part of the purple room “rat pack” right away. Very fun. We will be back!

Our visit to the Purple Room was to celebrate my partner's birthday, and we both loved it! The service was top of the line start to finish. The food was extraordinary and delicious: she had the short ribs, while I chose the veal. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. A jazz/pop violinist played with the house band, and the show was wonderful. We'll be sure to come here again!
