   Have gone to The Perfect Caper for almost 20 years. Never disappoints, however, we do miss the Prix Fixe menu from years back. Food is consistently good and the selections somewhat varied. The menu hasn’t changed much, but the prices have. We started with the Warm Goat, which was goat cheese served with roasted red peppers, caponata, olive tapenade and a head of roasted garlic. Wife had the grouper special which was excellent, and I had the Pig and Fig Jam which was a melt in your mouth thick pork chop done to perfection, slightly less than medium. Wine selections are very good.

   Great service, great ambience, most of all, really good upscale food. We were there for a special birthday dinner and you made us feel welcomed and celebrated. Thank you!

   Food was excellent. Prices marginally high by fair for the quality. Service was very good but my drink order was forgotten.

   Food at the Perfect Caper never disappoints. It is consistently good and always offers new special items that make it more difficult to choose just one entree or appetizer.

   Three of us had a terrific Christmas day dinner. Our server, Stacy (sp?), was friendly and attentive. We started with some wine, then the very yummy spicy sweet calimari. Salads were fresh and tasty and big enough to share. For dinner we had the pork chop, the filet and my seared scallops. All were delicious. My Scallops were the best I've had in a years! Dessert was very good too... Overall we had a wonderful dining experience!

   We frequent Michelin Star rated restaurants wherever we travel. The Perfect Caper is absolutely serving on this caliber. Upon entering you are greeted by a gracious host who immediately found us a spot at the niche bar, which was quite busy. The bar has lively attendants who serve great house stuffed olive martinis. From there our host escorts us to our cozy table for two where we enjoyed a Christmas Eve designed menu. Lobster/Palm heart salad, crispy fried shrimp over avocado and delightful healthy portion of a lemon drizzle and finally our perfectly seared scallop topped with crab and an artful creation of candied lemon, a lovely surprise taste; all over black rice and baby bok choy. The meal ends with a Carmel butter tort that we will long remember as the “best dessert we’ve ever had.” Special mention to Mary Jane, our server who delivered our courses with a flair worthy of a starring evening!

    Excellent food & service, as usual. The question regarding value in this survey is a little silly—no one comes here for the value. This is a fine dining experience & the prices reflect that. The only negative in my opinion was a $1.50 upcharge for lemon wedges for our water. We’ve dined all over the world & this was the first time I’ve ever seen this.
