The Pelican Club is a contemporary New Orleans restaurant located on historic Exchange Place in the French Quarter. Since opening the doors to the renovated 19th century Creole townhouse in 1990, chef and owner, Richard Hughes has offered a diverse menu based in south Louisiana tradition with French, Italian, and Asian influences reflecting the rich culinary culture of the city.

    We had an exceptional meal. Everything was amazing and we got a real great taste of New Orleans. The storm was a bit intense and no one rushed us out which was very thoughtful. We will be back soon. Thank you!

    Truly excellent food and service. Had the Paneed Fish and she had the Short Ribs. Started with the scallops which were perfect. Wonderful evening.

    This is surprisingly large but with lots of different rooms it feels like a “club”. Each room has large paintings from a local art gallery making it feel very striking. The food was excellent, as was the service. Only complaint is that they have no espresso.

    The Pelican Club did not disappoint. We had a delicious drink at the bar before being seated. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The food was delicious. Will be back for more.
