    My favourite place to eat in Stratford: the food is always excellent; the staff are friendly, efficient & get your meal sorted speedily(I’m always eating before going to the theatre); and it’s convenient to get to theatre. Also it’s usually possible to find a parking space in Sheep Street — what’s not to like!

    This was a really excellent pre-theatre meal. We were eating with old friends, one of whom had eaten at 'The Oppo' on many occasions. He, like us, was delighted at the meal and the fact that he felt the standard was as high as ever. Great food, served in plenty of time but not too quickly, really well cooked and hot, served on hot plates too. The restaurant was really busy (always a good sign!) and yet didn't feel crowded - in fact there was a really nice 'buzz'. All the staff were very attentive and friendly and it started our evening off in perfect fashion. Many thanks and see you again 😊

    Second visit for my friend and I before a trip to the RSC. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and engaging. We enjoyed the pheasant meal and the pork meal. We were forced into eating the most delicious panacotta with kirsch cherries. Delicious. If we had to be a little fussy we both would have preferred to have the gravy/ jus in jugs by the side as we both felt our plates were slightly‘swimming’. But we most certainly be back.

    An excellent dining experience. Welcoming knowledgeable staff. Varied menu to suit all tastes. Food cooked to a high standard. This will be our go to restaurant next time we visit Stratford Upon Avon.

    Nice atmosphere and very friendly waiter. Food nice but quite small portions for the price. Glass of Prosecco very pricey. Would go again though.
