This place is a hidden gem in the local neighborhood it represents. I LOVE Scottish breakfast dishes and their oatmeal pancakes are right on point. Could they publish the recipe for that dish?

We went for my daughters bday, but would be great for a day night. Still wanted to try brunch!

This was our most disgusting restaurant experience ever. We had a confirmed reservation and showed up exactly on time. The owner kicked us out as he had a wedding in the back. I showed him the written confirmation he didn’t care. Had a fake I apologize on his lips but didn’t offer to rebook, didn’t offer a drink just didn’t care. 30 minutes drive wasted each way. What a jerk. As a side note to Open Table you can’t book a backup as you can’t cancel the old reservation after start time.

Absolutely unique experience that completely blew away my expectations! The food was unbelievable and the chef and staff personally come to the table to talk about their dishes and offer to pair a specific glass of wine to each course.

We went for the Sunday brunch-the service was excellent, food was great, and the facility was amazing. After we finished, Joel the owner took us on a tour of the second and third floor as well as the beautiful gardens. I am looking forward to my next visit there.

I loved Lumber Baron. Our meal included the best trout and best trout that I have ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and the Scottish dessert of whipped cream, fruit, honey and brandy was good without being to sweet. We will definitely go back.

We enjoyed a lovely dining experience with superb food and service. We had the special pleasure of meeting our knowledgeable host, who shared the story of this beautiful historic house and provided a guided tour of the building and it’s delightful gardens.

We had an enjoyable culinary evening. The chef prepared a 5 course meal of his choice. He then selected several wines to pair with each course. Our party was two couples looking for a unique dining experience. The place didn't disappoint.
