My partner and I have eaten in the Lord Northbrook several times and have never had a be meal. Last time was for Sunday lunch and it was outstanding the food service and real value for money. We look forward to going again. Peter Davidson

When we arrived in a quiet bar there seemed to be a real reluctance to serve us but after that we enjoyed very good service and most enjoyable dinner. Would certainly recommend

It had been a while since we'd ate at the Lord Northbrook as our last experience was mediocre at best. Very pleased to find that with a new chef in the kitchen and a new team front of house, things have improved greatly. The food was excellent - particularly the specials, a new addition to the menu. Good to see much more fish on there too, and vegetarian options. In the past it was a very meat-heavy menu with little choice for non-carnovires. We'll definitely be going back to sample more of the menu.

We were celebrating our daughter's engagement with her and her fiance and had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant - there were red roses on the table for Valentine's day which was a nice touch. The menu was interesting and varied and the food we ordered was very good. Overall, it was a very good meal which made our celebration memorable for all the right reasons.

Very average. Nothing was terrible, nothing to write home about. The best part of our meal was the scotch egg on the Hog Board. Staff were friendly, fairly easy to get their attention, but I wouldn't make the trip there again I don't think. If it was a local, maybe, there were plenty of options on the menu to try.

Fantastic local pub with amazing food & really friendly service. Brilliant Sunday lunches, great value and even had our wedding reception there in the summer which made our day awesome. :D Really child friendly & very welcoming to dogs. We love everything about this pub. :-)

Great pub, great food, really nice cosy feel. This is the 3rd time we've been for Sunday lunch and it's a great place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. The one caveat this time was that the bar was really hot but I think they'd misjudged how cold a day it wasn't and had the fire on too early! Still, it is mid-November. Anyway, very enjoyable roast and well worth booking a table to be sure of getting in.
