   Loved the Keg downtown, it was private, staff were smiling, providing wonderful service with remarkable food and serving sizes. They were so generous celebrating a birthday with a candle and everything!

   We had to wait to be seated along with a few others, which was strange as we were all on the first booking. It ended up being very busy, which was understandable due to it being a Saturday in December with lots of people coming before shows etc. The waitress did say any orders would take longer due to this. We were only there for drinks and bites, but everything we got was tasty.

   I absolutely love the keg but last night's experience didn't meet expectations. I typically visit the Esplanade location but went here after the ballet We had a reservation but somehow still had to wait for table. Bread and butter was great. Ordered two keg size margaritas and the glasses looked 3/4 full. The bartender had definitely forgot to add an ingredient as they were incredibly sour. I mentioned it to the server and he just seemed annoyed that I wasn't happy with them. He ignored me after I brought it up. I ordered the chicken and my husband order a peppercorn steak. My chicken was incredibly dry and the steak had more peppercorn than steak. Really disappointed with the overall visit and wish I had gone to my regular location

   This is the second year I go to the Keg and both times to the York location to celebrate my Birthday. Service was above and beyond. On the phone during general inquiries, the hostess who sat me down, my server Chris, and the lady who brought me my main course. All questions throughout the night were answered in due time and with the utmost of care. I would certainly return, for the food and the service.

   It was a great time! We loved coming to see The Keg and have some Archway (my wife designed the label). Love that the kitchen manager came out to discuss my food allergy as well. Can’t wait to be able to come back to The Keg!

   As usual amazing good food Steaks are melting in your mouth and still nest crème brûlée in town Always sure to bring my visitors here to enjoy the Toronto dining
