   We always enjoy the food and service that we experience at the Keg Bramalea. It is our go-to place for all important celebrations in our life. Thank you to Jenn and Lara in particular for a very enjoyable evening celebrating our 31st anniversary.

   Went for dinner last night, the Bramalea City Centre location, it was Family Day, the restaurant, although busy, was quieter than I'd expected given the holiday. We started with an appetizer we'd never had before, although on the regular menu, the Gruyere Mushroom Dip, to die for, definitely a repeat next visit. It was served with tortilla chips, although pull apart bread would have been ever more delicious. Our main, we both had the French Onion Sirloin from the Winter Grill menu, it was absolutely delicious! The steak melted in your mouth, it's certainly a meal I'd love to see on their regular menu. As a frequent dinner of The Keg for +25 years, last night's dinner was one of the best I've ever had. And our Server, Ellen, top notch!

   This location in Bramalea is our go-to Keg. Not sure if it was the end of the night (8pm reservations) but service was a bit slow from apps to the main course. Apps portions are smaller, the fried cauliflower came in a bowl instead of a serving plate. The 4 entrees took a bit of time so we started watching team Canada vs USA on our phones. We were promised bread, it never showed up as promised. We had to ask 3 times and when it finally arrive 1/2 way thru our dinner, another server who delivered it said "a refresh on your bread" and my wife quickly said we never got our first one even!!! When the meals finally came out my striploin (we ordered 3 in total and all medium) was cut super thin and didn't feel or look like 12oz. I usually can't finish it. The wife's striploin was undercocked and my daughter's was what we were used to seeing in a 12oz Keg striploin, thick and hearty. All of our dishes arrived at once but 1/2 way thru, my wife notoced she didnt get any mushrooms. At this point, it was useless to complain as no servers were nearby. My wife had to ask twice for a bit of extra sour cream for her baked potato. When we were done im glad they didnt forget that we were there celebrating a birthday although it seemed they almost did. The food and service is not like this at this Keg Location so I'm going to give it one more try to see if things improve.

   I ordered the Sirloin Oscar and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend and order again.

    We were there for Valentine's Day and though it was a little busier it seemed to be the same as any other Keg visit , and that was OK . Our waitress Jamie was excellent addressing any needs or questions that we had. Our food was cooked to order , though I did have to return a cold baked potato but that was taken care of immediately. All and all a very lovely Valentine's dinner.
