Great experience as always… food and service both excellent. Seated in the outdoor section and heaters kept us nice and warm.

Staff are not to a high standard, we waited on a bottle of wine for a long time but could see it was just say in the side while the staff kept walking past it. We ordered the snowman desert as we see it in a globe and wanted to enjoy the same experience however, when they arrived they did not have the globe we was told that they had run out but was not made aware when we ordered, after asking the waitress why they did not have the globe, her very rude “do you want them or not?” We spent £400 and do not expect to be treated as tho we are in a cheap restaurant.

We had food from the lunch time menu , burger and the chicken , and we had the chocolate bomb and we the white snowman both delicious and beautifully presented

I have been to Market Grill several times before but in this occasion they fell miserably short . The special Christmas cocktails which was one of our reasons for going were unavailable as they had run out of ingredients so that got off to a bad start and the person who served was terrible . Really had no idea about anything . First table we were given was so cramped two small children would hardly be able to sit at it and the second one not much better next to the toilet and in direct line of an opening door, which was cold ! All in all if that was my first experience , I would never return .
