   It was Valentine’s Day so take that into consideration services was very slow. I had crab cakes which were good but ice cold. My husband has veal shank and did not like it.

   Very good meal again at Greenfield on Valentines Day. I had the Veal Shank and my wife had the Filet. We enjoyed both. Seasoned well and the steak was done as my wife requested. Vegetables were crisp as we like them. Service was very adequate for a busy Valentine’s Day. We were able to carry on a conversation even though it was a busy night.

   I hate giving bad reviews. We went for Valentines Day Dinner. It was clean, table was ready, service was very good, except the food. The scallop dish had no taste. They were only seared on one side and not seasoned. The broccolini was hard and the risotto was very bland.

   Service wasn’t very good. Rarely came back to the table check on drinks. Water glasses were empty more than full. Too very long for food to come to the table.

   Wonderful Valentine’s lunch with friends. Everything we tried (and shared) was delicious! The service was fantastic. And, it was a real treat to get a visit from the chef. Charming.

   Greenfield never disappoints! I had the scallops and veggies and they were delicious and melted in my mouth! The hot, fresh bread and butter were to good to stay away from! Our waitress was a hoot and the chef came out and said hello! We would do it again for a special occasion!

    While we had reservations, a table was not available for us until 30 minutes later. I think this was due to them being slammed with "night before Valentines" diners, like us. Also, I was told they were short a server or two. These things happen. So we sat at the bar and had some excellent cocktails concocted especially for Valentines day by the superb bartender Kim . This ended up being the highlight of the evening for us, and deserves 5 stars on its own. Once we were finally seated, and ordered our appetizers and entrees, things slipped a little. While our food was served quickly all things considered (being very busy), my fried oyster appetizer was luke warm and a little disappointing. Likewise my lobster tail entrée, while very tasty, was barely lukewarm warm. My wife commented that her shrimp bisque soup was a little salty, but she thoroughly enjoyed her Chilean sea bass entree. Our server was very nice, and did a fine job. While she was understandably very rushed due to the server shortage, she still did a good job taking care of our requests in a timely manner. The ambiance at The Greenfield is excellent. Especially the bar/lounge area. We will definitely go back, but during a less busy holiday time.
