The Fox is an award winning pub & fine dining restaurant with rooms located in picturesque Willian near Letchworth, North Hertfordshire. It has a great locals bar serving a wide selection of real ales and lagers, dog friendly. Our newly refurbished stylish, relaxed 2 rosette restaurant serves an abundance of locally sourced seasonal produce with an accessible wine list as well as an extensive bar menu.

We have created a beautifully landscaped outside dining area with heating and lighting. Each table has an umbrella for cover, but please come prepared for inclement weather. If the weather takes a turn for the worse and you have booked an outside table we may not be able to accommodate you inside.

The Fox also boasts 8 beautifully designed bedrooms adjoining the pub which are open all year round. 5 of our our bedrooms are also dog friendly.

Just a simple business lunch. Fancied fish and chips which was really nice. Nice quiet booth the talk business and very good attentive service. Have previously been for a Christmas meal. Very nice place.

Service was slow and they were not that busy Food was lovely although not much of it! The cheeseboard was disappointing again not much of it and the cheese was as if it had just come out of the fridge!

Really enjoyed our food. It was an interesting menu with some nice choices. Our only complaint is the cost where it all seemed quite expensive almost £200 for 3 x diners and no bottles of wine.

Great lunch with a friend. Excellent food and food service though slightly disappointed you had to pre book a festive lunch. Will know better next time!

As usual lovely food and wine. We both had steak and chips. And then ice cream and I had cheese and biscuits. Cooked perfectly. Only compliant, if I can call it a complaint, there were too many chips. Both of us couldn’t eat them all and we don’t like to waste food, but had to. Service was impeccable. Ambience was good too. Nice and busy with great atmosphere. Will be back. Thanks for a great dinner experience.

Great meal, we were greeted with a smile and the staff were very friendly. Food was wonderful and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. It was our sons birthday so they bought out a happy birthday plate with dessert and also someone else was celebrating their birthday and the whole place sung happy birthday which was great.
