This was my 2nd visit to the Charcoal Room and it was just as amazing as the first! The food is phenomenal, the service is spectacular, and the price.....well, I'd say it's reasonable. It's not cheap, but it is worth every single penny! Seriously, the Charcoal Room is a fantastic steak house dining experience!

If you’re in the Northwest part of town and craving a fantastic steak, this restaurant is a must-visit! I had the prime New York strip, and it was cooked to absolute perfection at medium rare. The flavor was outstanding—every bite was juicy and tender. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible value. Compared to the pricier steakhouse down the strip, the cost here is much more reasonable, yet the quality exceeds expectations. Whether you’re dining out for a special occasion or just treating yourself, this spot delivers an unforgettable steak experience without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

Slightly unusual experience. We had to ask for side plates and weren’t given plates for the oysters, but ended up with 5 butter knives. The table top was unstable and they refused to reseat us and it couldn’t be fixed. The parsnip puree had separated but tasted okay. The scallops tasted good and were well cooked. The vegetables were weirdly crunchy and not great but the mushrooms were good. The crab legs were good but barely warm when served and not $120/pound good. The sides were great - charred corn and mac n cheese. Decent wine list with a good range of options.

We had another superb meal at the Charcoal Room. The employees were all very friendly and knowledgeable and helped to ensure we had a wonderful meal. Justin was our main waiter and it was a pleasure to meet him, as he worked with us to ensure our meal was everything we hoped it could be and more.

We had reservations at 5:00 pm. Not too busy as they just opened. But I felt our waiter for forgot about us. We came in to celebrate two birthdays which no one recognized. Not the waiter until the end he said here is your free dessert. My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye medium well. No charcoal at all and he felt they placed a glaze on it. Was not good. The calamari is horrible. It’s long and just gross. Miss the circle calamari. The waiter agreed and said most customers are disappointed with the calamari. Ordered two shrimp cocktails and no cocktail sauce was given. Everytime we needed something. It took to long to get anything. Such as cocktail sauce. Use to be the best place and a disappointment for our birthday

The food was excellent, as always. I had a Gem salad, which was beautifully plated, and a side of scallops, as I didn't like the puree and vegetables that came with scallops as an entree. My husband was completely satisfied with his steak. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful; available without hovering. Our table was next to the bar area, and I will request somewhere else next time we visit, as the noise level made it difficult for us to have a conversation.

The Oysters Rockefeller were luke warm could not even finish them, when I let them know I was told “ We’ll let the chef know” and that was it. Took a while to get our food , no one bothered to clear the appetizer plates until the main course came. We all ordered steaks and the server brought us steak knife’s when we were pretty much done eating ( using our butter knife’s). Also brought the toppings for the sweet potatoe when we almost finished eating it. On a good note, the steaks for cooked perfectly, the creamed spinach was pipping hot ( because I requested it that way). The dining experience at the Palace Station charcoal room was much better than this one so I am not sure we will return. Sorry just being honest.

This was a great experience overall. Flavors of the food was phenomenal. The calamari was a little spicy and could do with less pepper flakes on it since there’s already sliced peppers and a spicy sauce, but it was good. The scallops and steak were phenomenal. Price steep for a small Caesar salad and the scallops were also pricey.. $6+ per scallop is a bit excessive in my opinion.
