Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Our server “Shawn” was absolutely wonderful and was so professional. We enjoyed our evening and as always exceeded our expectation. We loved the food and our company enjoyed their dinner experience as well. Thank you so much. 😊

The food was delicious, steaks prepared as ordered. The cocktails were mixed at the table so the martinis were served cold and fresh. Appetizers were plentiful. The entrees were served in a timely, not rushed, fashion. The recommended wine was a great pairing with the meal. Dessert and cappuccinos were a perfect end to an overall great dining experience. If you go, we recommend asking for Jon to be your server. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed having him as our server. He added to our experience. We will go back for certain!

Best steak out of all the steak houses. Yes, pricey, but most steaks are shareable. We shared the bone in ribeye n was definitely enough for 2!! Absolutely delicious! Sides of spinach and Augratin potatoes were enough for 4 people! Burata appetizer delicious and enough for 2 people!! Was very busy but service was still outstanding. Love this place!!!

It was my birthday and a waiter named Sean was the best he explained everything I needed to know on the menu he even greeting me with open arms and was very social, he made me and my wife feel like we were at home and very special I recommend going there to eat and ask for Sean the waiter he’s great at his job

The food was wonderful and everything was cooked to perfect. But most noteworthy was our waiter, Brandon. The service was exemplary. He catered to our every need. Capital Grille continues to be our favorite restaurant in Sarasota and now Brandon is our favorite waiter (he also waited on us on our visit prior to this one and was equally appreciated!

Food, ambience, and service were exceptional. Our waiter Joe was so fantastic that we asked reception to assign him to us every time we visit. We have not been to a Capital Grill in a decade since visiting a Las Vegas location that’s wasn’t exceptional. So happy we tried it again.

I sent a detailed review directly to the restaurant. Briefly for Opentable... Food was very good, but not amazing for the exorbitant prices. Really too expensive even for a special occasion, but more disappointing when it's not off the charts good. Our server did a great job with service and making our evening special. My steak was very good, which is important, but most sides and desserts were lackluster. Lobster bisque just ok for a $17 cup. I probably will not go back very soon if at all. This was my birthday dinner and I went because I had a bunch of gift cards.
