Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Service was not what we are accustomed to to but the manager got involved and made up for its shortcomings of a new server. Not surprisingly for a New Year’s Eve where every restaurant is packed and all the help is trying to do their best. They and every other establishment get a pass on holidays .

    Very solid steakhouse experience. The atmosphere was lively but the plush surroundings absorb a lot of the noise so you’re left with a pleasant hum of activity. Ask for Alexandria, she’s a lovely, informative and attentive part of the waitstaff. The steak and sides were extremely good. We each had a classic cocktail and they were top notch. Food & service make it hard to want to try new restaurants in the area. 😁

    My wife, daughter, and I were dining at the Capital Grille to celebrate the holidays . The food and service were good as usual. The only disappointment was that they still don’t offer any desert options for people that are lactose intolerant.

    Our server, Victoria, was incredibly kind, patient, and fun. The food was amazing and the ambience could not have been improved upon. A perfect evening; we left full and happy. It’s safe to say we have a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh!

    This was our first time dining at Capital Grill and I know we will be back. Quinn our server was exceptional with the perfect level of service that we felt extremely well taken care of without feeling suffocated by service. My biggest complaint (which is being picky, but at this pricepoint I feel I can be) is that the bathrooms were not great. You could tell no one had been in there maintaining them for several hours as trash was overflowing and they generally were just unclean.
