Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     We went to capital grille-Paramus on a Saturday afternoon at opening time. Bar is very nice. Matt was very friendly and welcoming. His drinks that he made were excellent. We then had lunch. The space is dark. Hard to read the menu. They can use brighter lamps on each table. Food was delicious and I love that the server recognized my food allergies from the open table app. We would definitely return.

    The service was good, but the waiter kept pushing drinks too much, it was a turn off, when I’m ready to order more I will let you know! Otherwise the rest of the service was very good.

    The food and birthday and anniversary surprise desserts were outstanding. I suppose it was a busy night as when I ordered my wine. It arrived 20 minutes later and I was already halfway through dinner. That was my only complaint. Nobody beats the food. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the lobster tail as well. Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and sauté mushrooms were fantastic. Noise level a bit too loud for easy conversation but that would be expected on a busy Saturday night!

    It was a great experience. Will for sure be dining again. Little pricy for the portions but flavor was worth the price.

    The food & service was wonderful as always. We come. Here 2-3 times out of a year for special celebrations and it never disappoints. The only downside this time was the table across from us was filming content using ring lights and lots of flash that was very disturbing to the ambiance and our overall evening experience.
