   First time my girlfriend and myself have eaten at Capital Grill. We very much enjoy high end steakhouses like Ruth Chris, Okeechobee Steakhouse, Council Oak at the Hard Rock, and our Favorite Abe and Louis in Boca. My girlfriend started off with the crab and lobster cake that was very good however half of it was drowning in the lemon basil aioli which kind of ruined it. However it was still very good the part that wasn’t covered. I started off with a cup of French onion soup that was good but nothing great. Next we had a ceaser salad and my girlfriend always ask for a side of extra dressing in the side. When she uses some of the extra dressing there was a huge lump in it and we thought it might be a croton. After looking at it I think it may have been a clump of Parmesan cheese but still can’t say for sure. Dressing had an odd kick too it and I was glad I choose to get the soup rather than my own ceaser salad. Then came the star of the show, the filet mignon. She ordered medium and I had mine rare. We also ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and au gratin potatoes. First thing I did was cut into my steak and wow did I have a hard time cutting into it. I took a look and there was no red. Meanwhile my girlfriend had cut into hers and had a nice piece of fat that caused her trouble cutting hers. She then said how red her meat was and of course we quickly switched steaks since they must have mixed them up when they served us. Didn’t matter tho cuz no filet was all that great. My first bite of my steak included a very tough piece that was nice and red in the center but had a very crunchy crust. I enjoyed the potatoes and the star of the meal was the lobster Mac n cheese even tho the lobster was a bit overcooked. Even tho we wanted to get desert to take home we both decided to pass due to not enjoying the meal. We both agree we really enjoyed the lobster and crab cake, minus the a

   It is always amazing! The seafood tower is so good. Brussels with thick pork piece’s is to die for! And the lobster bisque had plenty full mounds of lobster meat . The only thing I would have to say was when you make a reservation you hope to be seated around that time instead, we waited for 25 minutes to be seated. That was a bummer . All in all one of our top 5 in west palm!

   The food at Capitol Grille is always fabulous but tonight we had an amazing waiter named Charlie who made our dinner even more special.

   Best steaks around bar none. My elderly parents had the chicken and it was done to perfection. Never had an “off” meal at CG. Super consistent.

   Wonderful as usual! Oysters, steak, lobster Mac and Cheese!!!!! Always fabulous. Service was also excellent.
