Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Came for an early dinner. We were seated promptly but that's where the service fell short. We ordered a full meal. My brother had a salad and filet mignon and I ordered a shrimp cocktail and filet. The waitress who has been working at the restaurant since opening was totally distracted with other tables outside and really showed no interest in taking care of us. She was rarely in the dinning room. She just took our orders and realized the rest of the service team to tend for us. It seemed She was at another party the entire time we We there. Our drinks were not refilled promptly and the filets were not served at the proper temperature because they sat on hot plates to long before they were served. I have dined at Capitol Grill before and this was the worst service ever offered. With service like this you should just leave an iPad on the table and I can place my own order. Next time I dine in the restaurant I am going to ask if you have time for me or are you just going to take my order and run.

    I was a bit underwhelmed with my recent visit. The rosé was served extremely warm, which was disappointing as I believe rosé should always be properly chilled. The salad also fell short of expectations, lacking the freshness or flavor I anticipated. While the service was okay, I raised my concerns with the manager and was surprised by the lack of interest or effort to address them. Overall, the experience didn’t meet the standard I was hoping for, and I left feeling disappointed. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed for future guests.

    The service was terrible, the waiter was no where to be found, bread, appetizers and main course took extremely long to arrive, and my dry aged NY strip was overcooked (I ordered medium rare). I dine at many Capital Grilles in other cities and this has destroyed the consistent proper service and food brand that I am accustomed to.
