   Celebrated our anniversary at TCG last evening, our go to special evening venue for a high-end experience. TCG never disappoints and it didn't this time either, despite some hiccups from the kitchen concering some filets (w lobster) ordered. But TCG is always gracious to make its clients whole and enjoy the experience. Starting with a wonderful celebratory Moet Imperial Rose, then moving to crab cocktails, large lumps of quality crab was a delicious starter. Moved on to filets with butter poached lobster tails, and the bone in filet. The bone in filet was extraordinary, medium rare plus, rubbed with black truffles and parmesan made for an extraordinary savory dining experience. All paired with a 2023 Flowers Pinot Noir, made for a wonderful pairing, as it held up to the filets and sauces, and sides of Potatoes au Gratin, and fresh grilled asparagus. Finished with a special anniversary dessert plate, espresson and a glass of Amaro for a digestiv. Service, by Micah and team, was attentive but not intrusive, and pleasant. Special ordered flowers by me arrived on the table as expected, and TCG team made certain of another fine dining experience. Thank you TCG for another great experience. Although we found this visit to be quite pricey, go for the food, service and overall special expeirence if you have the budget for a special evening.

   Great Bloody Mary! Got our appetizers and halfway through the main courses came like they were hurrying us. Potatoes in my chowder were not cooked and hard. I was offered lobster bisque which I took. Tilt was too rare so I had it redone to medium rare.

   From the service at the bar to the service at our dining table, everything was outstanding. The bartenders skill mixing our drinks was commendable. Our table serve, Derrick, was excellent! He timed our service just right and made sure that all our dining needs were met. As an added bonus, he was the right amount of funny, which added to our special night with our friends.

   This is our go to place for a lunch or dinner meeting. Rob's service was excellent as usual including the other associates that assisted him. And of course, the food was sumptuous.

   Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot due to the hosts at the front. Their attitude was unwelcoming—no smile, no warmth, and lacking professionalism. It left a poor first impression and really took away from the overall experience.

   We went for the Waygu & Wine Special. It is one of our favorite offerings each year. The burgers were fabulous! We ordered a side of the Lobster Mac & Cheese for the table and started with the Caviar Onion Dip. Everything was super delicious. Eric was our server and he was totally amazing. I don’t know when I have had such wonderful service.
