We are currently closed for refurbishment due to a fire. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and we are looking forward to see you again! Life is as sweet as honey here at London pub restaurant The Beehive. Centrally located, this hostelry lays claim to being one of the city’s oldest pubs, having been established in 1884. With a desire to extend to guests the kind of warm welcome which would have been forthcoming all those years ago, the team at The Beehive today go above and beyond to provide busy Londoners with a place where they can feel at home an enjoy a peaceful, comfortable meal away from the rat race. The typical public house exterior of The Beehive, lined with its parasol-ed picnic benches, leads to a room in many ways unchanged over the years - indeed a huge Victorian dark wood bar remains, still serving a wide variety of lagers and real ales as well as excellent wines to complement the food menu. Described as ‘gastropub’, The Beehive’s menu provides much more

The staff were very helpful as we were short of time. The food was fine - pub grub with well-cooked chips and sweet potato chips with the falafel burger. Just a bit heavy and emphasis on quantity.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, where you don't feel rushed at all. Great food and service! Went on a friday and the after work drinkers make for a buzzy vibe to start with and then they thin out and it becomes more chilled out. Highly recommended for a catch up with friends.

Not bad. Busy on a Friday night but could still get served at bar. slightly pretentious crowd but staff were Nice and food was tasty. Worth booking a table if you want food. Good buzzy venue if looking for somewhere relaxed but decent near baker street tube. Would recommend.

Good food with a classic pub menu as well as more adventurous food. Fairly priced and a decent wine selection. Service was friendly and efficient.

Booking was easy and the table was ready when I arrived. The service was pretty good although sometimes had to wait a bit long to get our server's attention (but she was busy, it's not that she was just standing around). The food was fairly good - the portions were small. I had the fish & chips and the fish was fine - nothing to write home about.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Beehive, the vegetarian roast option was delicious and the waiter was attentive and helpful. It was very busy and lively, which made for a good atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

We booked the pub as we needed to meet in the area for family reasons as husbands birthday. The reviews seemed good and when entered we were pleased as we had a lovely table. The staff were very nice and very attentive with drink orders and getting the children's menus asap. It was looking very positive, until we received our predominately roast dinners. Well lets say the children's fish and chips looked better than our food. The beef was tough, with a really weird sauce on top with potatoes that were non existent and the one's that were were under cooked. Had to ask for some more. The chicken was served upside down and no taste at all just a large overcooked lump. One of the less edible meals had in a longtime. I don;t like to complain but when you have a large party and having spent a reasonable amount of money we were left walking out not even commenting on the meal as was agreed was poor and would have brought the atmosphere down for the birthday. It was also funny how the staff were less attentive torwards the end must have realised. I would say there is a lot around of better quality, maybe it was just our bad luck ,maybe the chef was having a bad day as slightly later in the day but expect more. Would say nice place, nice staff....but sort the food!

The roast pork was excellent, moist and flavorful. Roasted veg on the side were very good as well, but not the broccoli, which was a pitiful shade of chartreuse.

We booked a large group in at short notice. The location is central and accessible, the staff were great and the food was good quality pub food.

This has good recommendation but overall was disappointing. We were advised to have our stwak medium rare and it came out very well done. Service was slow and overall very average,
