   The waiter took care of larger crowds. The servers serving the proteins missed us several times. The manager was rude when he pointed out the server severing the protein.

   Went for Christmas lunch like we do every year. This time we barely saw the gauchos and sometimes it even seemed as though they just skipped us completely. Server finally came by and asked if we were done. I replied with “I’m waiting for some steak. He then immediately started clearing our table. What few pieces we did get were cold. Another family member that went today as well had the same experience. Don’t know if it was an isolated incident but can’t ever take the chance of ruining Christmas again. Spent $250 for 5 people, two of which were just eating the salad bar. Food was probably worth $100-$150. Will not be back, going to Chama Gaucha next year on Christmas Eve so Texas De Brazil can’t ruin our holiday meal . I know this sounds like I’m being brutal, but I hope they see this and improve. Don’t like seeing a good place go downhill. Such a shame.

   They check us in but never called us for 30 minutes. Went back up and the lady couldn’t find our reservation anymore and told us it would be another 20 minutes. When they were ready to seat us they had already sat another couple at the table so we had to wait again for another 20 minutes. Once we were seated the food was great and the waitress was very nice.

   Waiter would not listen and bring different things that’s were asked for. He took our order wrong and poor communication between manager and waiter. Multiple people telling me different things or options it came to ordering. Food was over all good. I have had much better experiences at this restaurant before.

   Every year I love taking my family out for a holiday meal. This year we had our friends from Finland, join us. I knew this would be a unique experience for them. We came a few minutes early, our table wasn't ready. We walked around the lobby for a bit. Then we were seated. It was no less than 10min for our server to greet us. She wasn't ready to take our drink order so she instructed us to go start at the salad buffet. We all got up, prepared a plate & sat back down to eat. Our server returned to ask us what temperature we preferred our meat. There were 9 of us and we all had different preferences. She filled our water glasses. She returned and took our drink order & gave half of us a plate for the meat. While we were all eating our salads, the gauchos kept interrupting us to offer cuts of meat, even with our tokens having red faced up. When we turned our tokens up, the gauchos kept offering well-done cuts of meat, which only 2 people wanted that temp. It took AWHILE to get a refill of our drinks. We all got a refill of water, but the 2nd Brazil limeade took until after we got our ticket. I should have just cancelled it. Then I realized: no lamb chops, no full cuts of filet mignon (just well done nuggets), no tenderloin. I remember, in the past we'd get offered desserts...we didn't get offered. Maybe that was good, since it was difficult to find our server and get refills (3 of us didn't get our refill of soda). I was disappointed. My company thought it was so different & great. I just knew how much better it could have been.

   We had to ask for our waiter and drinks. I asked for more well cooked meat and i kept getting opposite of what I asked for. This visit was not a pleasant visit especially with the cost of dinner!!!

   Dirty Menus, waitress not attentive, dirty plates, we had to get up and grab our own clean plates, they need to get some tips from Brasao, the guys with the meats wouldn't come often, staff not friendly at all, greeting was terrible, no smiles at all. Texas de Brazil in Downtown San Antonio, TX poor service

    If you're going to take reservations, you need to be better at meeting that obligation of honoring a reasonable seating window.
