   Honestly really disappointed when I requested to sit upstairs and we got sat by the salad bar with the most traffic. I booked this weeks in advance. Also said it was my boyfriend’s birthday on the reservation and got absolutely nothing said to us.

   We go often but tonight was the worst. Celebrating a birthday in which they typically offer dessert… nothing. Asked to be down stairs due to elderly mother…. We were put upstairs so she didn’t get to use the salad bar!!!

   The service was excellent and the food was great. It was a very engagement date night. We couldn't have ask for anything better.

   Was having a business lunch and servers kept interrupting even though had flipped to red our signs. It happened over 6 times. Really impacted quality of our experience. Texas De Brazil is not a good place for a business meeting.

   It took our waitress 25 minutes to bring out our 2 drinks. She had picked them up at one point and set them back down. So because she did this, they were both nothing but water from the ice melting. The host that was supposed to be taking me to my table (since my husband was parking the truck) never told me to follow him, but I assumed I needed too. I followed him past the salad bar and then he stopped, said something in his ear phone and then turned around headed back to the front door which I’m still following him. He said nothing to me, which we are back at the host station. So I asked, was I supposed to follow you? He said yea the other host took your table. Okay? Our waitress made my husband move over (into the main aisle) just to refill his water EVERY TIME. Because we were up against a wall, so instead of just picking it up and refilling it, she made him move over every time. She was SO rude and made RUDE comments every time we asked for something and had to ask a SECOND OR THIRD TIME. This was once my favorite place, after that experience I will be trying different places similar to Texas De Brazil but I will not be going back there. However, kudos to our SWEET,  attentive and amazing buser Alma. If we could’ve given the $10 cash we gave her to our waitress and gave her the 18% we gave the waitress WE WOULD HAVE! Alma deserved it, not the waitress. There were a lot of other things that happened during this experience but I’m not going to post it here and embarrass our waitress because of her behavior. I’m sure she knows what she did and she should be embarrassed.

   Great food as usual. Busy at noon on Friday, imagine that! But with our rez we got right in, seated and served. Staff was great, fast and competent.

   I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s extremely cramped and crowded. They gave us an extremely cramped table. I had very little room between the table and the wall. The salad bar is downstairs but we were seated upstairs and it’s very hard to walk up and down 2 flights of stairs with food. The meats we were served were all cold. The gauchos did come by very quickly but it was so quick we felt rushed. They also ignored our cards. Regardless of what they were on, they still came adding to the feeling of being rushed out. It’s genuinely just a glorified buffet and it’s not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else that you don’t have to eat cold overcooked meat. Also, for what’s supposed to be a nicer restaurant, the waitress we got was unprofessional looking. She had bright star shaped pimple patches on. That’s very unprofessional and not a good look.
