Tap & Barrel - Shipyard: A Perfect Valentine’s Dinner with an Amazing View We visited Tap & Barrel - Shipyard for Valentine’s Day dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Thanks to our reservation, we were seated immediately with no wait time. The service was quick, and everything we ordered arrived exactly as requested. For our meal, we ordered Pesto Chicken Linguine, Truffle Potato, Lettuce Chicken Wrap, and their famous Fat Tug IPA. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted great, but the highlight was definitely the Fat Tug IPA—its citrusy, aromatic taste is truly top-notch. The restaurant itself is one of Vancouver’s most unique dining spots. Located on the waterfront in an old shipyard, it offers a stunning atmosphere, cozy ambiance, and breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion or a casual lunch or dinner. There is a paid parking lot just a few minutes away, which adds to the convenience. I highly recommend Tap & Barrel - Shipyard for anyone looking for great food, craft beer, and an unforgettable dining experience with a view!

Went for Superbowl. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive, I was selected to get a free NFL jersey and they had happy hour food prices throughout the whole game! It was so fun, food and drinks were great.

Dinner with my hubby and a male friend we hadn’t seen in years. The guys enjoyed the Dine Out Vancouver menu. They both ordered the soup, a different main and a different dessert. They didn’t leave a bit on their plates! Compliments on every dish. Being a light eater I ordered the starter size of Garlic Chili Prawns. A good size portion with some bread to sop up the lovely sauce. Thank you kitchen and staff.

We are regulars and took advantage of dine out Vancouver for a birthday dinner.. on arrival we had to wait to be seated for our reservation as the hostess had just "double seated" the server. We had a lovely dinner and food was excellent. My wife (birthday girl) ordered an additional glass of wine after our shared bottle and it did not arrive until after desert. While admittedly we cut it close the extra few minutes (they are vicious) resulted in an $82 parking ticket!! Not your responsibility I know but if you have any leverage in making a nice birthday dinner out a more pleasurable experience it would be appreciated .

Amazing dining experience! Aside from the hockey game noise my husband and I enjoyed our visit. The service and food were excellent.
