   This is my favorite sushi on kauai so sad to hear door will be closing at the end of the year. Everything was so delicious service was so excellent

   First time eating there. An excellent menu but we had a bad experience. It took over an hour for half of our order to arrive and another 15 minutes for the rest of it. They were kind enough to remove half of our order from the bill. 90 minutes from when we arrived until we left with most of that time just sitting waiting for our order. I hope we were an outlier and others had a better experience.

   God awful place. Showed up for our 7:00 p.m. reservation on time. Despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't terribly busy, we were instructed to wait outside in the humidity rather than inside by the door. Waited for 10 minutes to be seated. Restaurant has nothing inside to dampen sound, so a few loud patrons can really jack up the noise level. To compound the problem, they pipe in loud music so you can barely hear your companion. Sake list seemed well-though out, but took our server 30 minutes to get us a bottle because they were out of the first couple of bottles we tried to order. Spicy yellowtail handroll was so over spiced that it was hard to taste the fish. The specialty rolls we ordered either didn't taste fresh or were over sauced. They tack on a 3% fee for using a credit card, but don't tell you about it. It just shows up on the bill after they've run your card. Restaurant does not have a bathroom. Awful experience.

   Upon our arrival, with reservations, the hostess seemed lost. We waited in line for her to seat the couple before us for about 10minutes, before we could get inside. Then waited another 5 or so minutes waiting for her to seat us even though the restaurant was not full. Our waiter was respectful & quiet, we ordered 1 large Asahi beer, but received 2. My husband got steak & although it was flavorful, it was cold & overcooked. My sushi rolls were great! The service was extremely slow, we waited about 45 minutes for 2 rolls & steak. We were very disappointed in the slow service, as we wanted to order more sushi but didn’t want to risk waiting another 45 minutes. But during that wait, we did assess the theme of the restaurant which is far from sushi/Japanese restaurant vibes. The paintings on the walls, although very good & pretty to look at, are kind of weird to have hanging in a sushi restaurant & the music was straight 80s hits the entire time. Overall, it was an experience & we would not go again.

   This place is a true find!!! The most amazing and fresh sushi!! They even have a screen where you can watch them make your sushi from your table. The combinations and creativity of the rolls is like nothing I've ever seen before! We loved it so much we went two days in a row! We still have 3 days left on the island, may have to go back again!

   We love Sushi Bushido. The rolls are sooooo good! Everytime we come to Kauai we come at least twice to eat here. It is so worth it.

   My wife and I absolutely love this place. It is our favorite restaurant in Kauai. The food is simply amazing. Their sushi rolls and nigiri are soooo good. Seriously, just try it. You won't be disappointed.
