At the risk of sounding a little over the top, Stanley’s Bar and Grill is like a theatre of food where you have been given front row seats and a chance to meet the stars beforehand. Open kitchens allow you to watch a team who just love preparing your food, however this is not pretentious dining In Stanley’s bar and Grill service is about a smile, whether family dining at the big table or time out on the terrace with a table for one you get to choose. Afternoon Tea includes a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with fresh clotted cream and mouth-watering sweet treats and cakes. Served a selection of Quinteassential Speciality Teas or Johnsons Coffee. Traditional, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free Afternoon Teas are available. When making the booking it is essential that you let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary requirements. **Afternoon Tea bookings need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. £10 per person deposit is required to confirm your booking. A member of the team will call you to arrange payment.**

    Food very good, we dined from the Dockers Menu. Service excellent from all staff in various areas of the bars and hotel. A very enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

    Lovely space, but food choice limited. Rib eye steak very fatty and grisly onion rings mediocre. Whilst our waiters were where very pleasant service was a bit prolonged. I would not go back to eat but would go for a drink.

    We were well looked after throughout. I have a very restricted diet and can rarely find food out but was able to enjoy a lovely 3 course meal, which was a real treat. The waiter and chef were conscientious in accommodating my needs and the price was very reasonable for what we got.

    Really surprised that you don’t serve iceberg lettuce with the Steak. Disappointed that fries were compulsory as the side. Mash ,Dauphinois or salad would have been a better option. Not everyone likes Fries!!

    Top class from start to finish with excellent Blue Badge parking and assistance from reception staff. Restaurant staff were so helpful and informative, especially Stephen our waiter, who was so professional and helpful with menu choices. Well done to all!

    Sweet chilli prawn linguine was delicious, but quite small. Steak just ok. Good cheeseboard and fabulous sticky toffee pudding.

    Was absolutely brilliant! Had afternoon tea for my birthday and everything was divine! Superb place to eat, gorgeous bar and special thanks to Jade, Stephen and the lovely Rosalie for all your kind attention! 10!10 will be back very soon ❤️
