Sparks Steak House was opened in 1966 by Michael and Pasquale Cetta, hence the logo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'. The restaurant is still a family owned and operated business and is located in midtown Manhattan, a five minute walk from Grand Central Station and The United Nations. Join us to celebrate 50 years of business!

The restaurant is well known for excellent steaks, seafood, fresh vegetables and satisfying salads.

Started poorly as I asked for a black napkin as I was wearing a black dress and didn't want white lint on it - the server said no in a very rude way. Appetizer delivered before our drinks. Steaks were good and cooked to order. The second server who took over at some point (we didn't request a change) was very good. Given the reviews and one prior corporate event there I was excited to bring my husband, a huge steak lover, but was disappointed overall and likely won't go back unless another corporate event.

We will always come to Sparks when we’re in town. This is one of our favorite places to die and we come about four times per year! We will never go to another place to sacrifice the service history and the food.

I was so disappointed. I’m not sure what has changed since we were last here, but the service was so bad. We sat at our table for so long before we were even given a menu. Drinks took forever to arrive. We ordered wine and were told they didn’t have it. Then the next one same thing. Then someone else came and told us they had the wine in a different location. It was just a very long dinner with long bouts of waiting. Server was nice, but inexperienced. Food presentation was gross. I only ate a quarter of my steak. It just looked gross. Spinach and has browns were good. Unfortunately this will be our last time here.
