Sparks Steak House was opened in 1966 by Michael and Pasquale Cetta, hence the logo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'. The restaurant is still a family owned and operated business and is located in midtown Manhattan, a five minute walk from Grand Central Station and The United Nations. Join us to celebrate 50 years of business!



The restaurant is well known for excellent steaks, seafood, fresh vegetables and satisfying salads.

Never disappoints, always memorable. Service impeccable and an exceptional wine list. Prices are what they, a little high in some areas and head shaking in others. But for that important celebration - go for it. Who deserves it more?

                                                                                                    Our server was terrific. She remembered that it was our anniversary and gave us our dessert with a message on it. She also gave us really good recommendations for food! We had the baked clams, filet mignon, asparagus (she recommended with garlic), button mushrooms (fantastic and her suggestion) and the pecan/walnut pie a la mode (her recommendation). I also loved that they split and plated things in half for us. Overall a wonderful experience!

                                                                                                    Our visit today was an annual celebration which started at a restaurant called Christ Cella (if I spelled it correctly) in 1982. We bounced around at every meaningful steakhouse thereafter, but settled on Sparks perhaps 20 or more years ago. We absolutely love it. Today was no exception. The food was, as always, wonderful. The steaks and sea bass were prepared perfectly and presented in the same manner. Hector took care of our party and was great. I cannot say enough great things about Sparks. Thanks for being there ....

                                                                                                    We sat for dinner and looked at the menu. This “steak house” has only 2 whole steaks. Filet mignon and sirloin. They have many sliced steak dishes but who wants that? It’s a shame too because this place used to be a classic. We didn’t even stay to eat so I can’t say if the food was good. We did see the table next to us with their appetizers and they did not look appealing. The only positive was the waiter was very friendly and understood that we wanted to leave.
