Sopra, an American Bistro, opened in the spring of 2008 with the goal of serving fresh and delicious Italian-American bold flavored foods, with global influence, in a fun and lively setting that makes our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown, Sopra Bistro combines the laid back atmosphere of Lake Geneva with the dynamic feel of Lincoln Park, Chicago.
The warm wooden barstools, chairs and tables create a harmonious balance of elegant American bistro and a comfortable neighborhood bar.

                                                        I love this restaurant. It’s definitely a gem in Lake Geneva. We had a great meal. I wish they would do something with adding some acoustic dampers as it’s always extremely loud and it can be difficult to talk to those at your table. And I’m a young dude saying that.

                                                        So we came here 2 or 3 times before. It did not disappoint! We had a bad experience at SinabroMKE for our anniversary so we came back here where we originally were going to go. I had the bread, fried goat cheese, and split the Elaine Salad which was very good and she got the Mac and cheese with pork shoulder and I got the Artie. It was so good… omg. We’ll be back!

                                                        We had the most amazing waitress, she attended to our every need. The building has low lighting which was so cozy for a great dinner. My husband got a steak and I tried the salmon. It was the best salmon, cooked perfectly that I’ve ever eaten and he loved his also. . Will definitely come back when we’re in town. 5 stars ⭐️

                                                        My wife and I celebrate special occasions at Sopra Bistro and they have never disappointed. The restaurant has an energetic vibe, the food is devine, and reasonably priced. If you’re into people watching sit by one of the large windows upfront, and in the summer you can sit a la fresca.

                                                        The food was good overall and our server was excellent. Only real complaint was $44 for the most underseared and oversalted scallops I’ve ever had. It was clear the cook had never been shown how to properly cook a scallop, which is too bad considering how basic it is. Everything else was great.

                                                        Excellent meal and service. There were three of us and we each had something different - Duck, Veal and Swordfish. All were excellent and the accompanying sauces were perfect. The person who ordered the Duck said it was the best he had ever ordered. The service was very good. We were seated upstairs, per our request, and the noise level was better than downstairs but still noisy.
