    I was expecting so much more here. We had an 11:30 lunch reservation on 11/29. Doors weren't unlocked until almost noon. No apologies or explanation. Waitress was sweet and kind. One order was all wrong, another was swimming in garlic butter (asked for plain grilled salmon). Crab sandwich was cold - tasted like it was made yesterday and stored overnight. Clearly very disappointing and we won't be returning. A shame since we keep our sailboat there and have thoroughly enjoyed the other restaurants in the area.

    A wonderful Thanksgiving experience in. all respects! Delicious food, friendly staff, good service. Our outstanding server, Angelina, was kind and attentive to our needs. Other staff and hosts were courteous and went our of their way to help me feel important and comfortable. And all this happened in a crowded restaurant on a holiday evening! Wow!

    The food was exquisite and the service was perfect. Every course was served right on time, and despite having a full house, the service staff seemed to give each diner special attention. As far as the food, we had the prime rib, the glazed sea bass, and the seafood trio, and everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

    The views are not to be surpassed. The setting and the ambiance were great. Our server was personable and friendly and very attentive without being rushed or stressed. The food was great and there was a large wine list with some great choices. All in all a great experience.

    A very relaxing afternoon at Skates. A beautiful view, delicious brunch, and outstanding service from Jonathan, our server. All staff in the bar area were friendly and helpful, as was our hostess. We look forward to returning on Thanksgiving.
